Puff of holidays... in Greece

Oh yeeah... after one year abroad.. the holidays are quite rare... so I just took some days to go for a little trip of 4,5 days in Grece.

I began the travel annoyed... the two flights to go to Grece, we are not side by side with Martin ! Ok, the first fly, I'm on business... do not ask why.. I don' t know at all :)
Finally, we passed the flights together...

Arrived in Athens, Rolf (Martin's father) is waiting us, the weather is nice... just warm enough for me... i missed so much the warmth this summer !!!
We discover the place where we stay and then, go to the beach to join Rena with who we are staying. We go to the most south point in Grece : Cape Sounion to see the sunset.. oh.. so long time I didn't see a sunset abroad... even sunset in France could be beautiful.... abroad means... holidays, escape, freedom...

Anyway... we enjoy the sunset and take a drink in a nice place with rocks and water in front of us...

The day after is just to have a rest... enjoy an ice-coffee "frappé" and then lets go to the beach. Very well-equiped with seat, we install ourselves on the shadow of a little tree and after snorkelling a while, I just take a book... so good to do nothing !

Then, the days of visit arrive... we go to Athens two days, visiting museum, archaeological site, and of course the Acropol ! It's very interesting to see these site. I think i was quite impressed by the theater... why?... a wall so high and wide.... with like big windows from which you can see the city... should be nice to see stages there...

I expected something like 40° in Greece but we just have nice weather with around 30°... certainly better to walk and enjoy the visit of Athens.

The last complete day, we relax at "home" near the swimming pool where I do not put more than my big toe __ yes, I'm not kidding ! I need really warm water and weather to go into the water :-) __. A light wind makes the day perfect for me to relax in the hammock (you can't see it on the picture, it's on the other side of the pool)

We go to the restaurant in the evening to celebrate the birthday of Rolf and enjoy the Greek food (so good in this typical restaurant !!!)

The last morning already arrive.... just time to pack the bags, have a chat, a coffee... and it's time to go in direction of the airport of Athens... Bye bye dry land of Greece...
